The 88 MIXER 25-45 Gallon Models

Our Industrial Mixer

The Model 25 is our industrial mixer, built to carry containers up to 150 liters capacity. This makes it an ideal industrial batch mixer for the milling and blending of pharmaceuticals, food, paints, powders, and slurries.
3D Mixer - The unconventional 3-dimentional mixing motion of these high efficiency mixers quickly produce a homogeneous mixture regardless of the density of the components.

Removable containers - All 88 Mixers have removable containers. This feature allows the filling of the containers in clean or ascetic facilities and reduces the downtime between batches.   It also allows you to insert smaller sized cylindrical containers into the mixer using a special clamping system, which is available at an extra cost. Please give the dimensions of the containers you wish to use when asking for a quote.

Variable speed control - The speed is adjustable at the turn of a dial from 20 RPM to 50 RPM and is displayed on the tachometer allowing precise measurements of the process. The Model 25 also includes a timer, which can be set from 1 minute to an hour or overridden at the flick of a switch.

Like all our 88 Mixer machines, the Model 25 has a safety switch which shuts down the machine if the safety cover is open. The safety cover is available in acrylic plastic, wire mesh and stainless steel sheet. Please tell us your needs when asking for a quotation. It is also available without a cover.

The Model 25A uses an elliptical drive wheel and belt drive, while the Model 25B uses a linear motor drive. The linear motor drive is virtually maintenance free while the belt drive on the Model 25A may need occasional replacement.

The Model 25B (linear motor drive) has a higher payload capacity allowing the mixing of denser materials.

The Model 45 A and 45B, available on special order, are similar to the 25A and 25B respectively. They have 220-liter capacity and a maximum speed of 40RPM.

Safety circuit:   mixer shuts off when the cage is opened.

Drive system: Two 1.5 h.p. gear motor, speed modulated by a belt driven elliptical drive wheel.

SPECIFICATIONS for Model 25B ( 25 Gallon):

Similar to Model 25A, but uses a linear motor drive, so it handles payloads of up to 250Kg.

Maximum payload: 250 Kg.

Dimensions: width 79" length 73" height 60" with safety cover closed; open: 80".

Gross weight: app. 1450. lbs.

Equipment: 1 hour timer, tachometer and speed control,

Speed: adjustable from 10 to 50 r.p.m.

Electrical requirement: 3600 >4800VA single phase (three phase possible) please specify.

Safety circuit:   mixer shuts off when the cage is opened.

Drive system: uses three 1 h.p. LIM's (Linear Induction Motors) and one 1 h.p. pulse; 4 h.p. total, driving a large diameter aluminum wheel. Speed controlled using a Micro Inverter speed control.

Models 45A and 45B are similar to 25A and 25B, but designed to handle containers of 220 Liters (45 imp gallons) capacity)

Drive system: uses two 2 h.p. gear motor, speed modulated by a belt driven elliptical drive wheel..

Model 45B maximum payload 350Kg. The motors and the gross weight are slightly larger in these units, details upon request.
