The 88 MIXER 10 & 15 Gallon Models

Batch Mixer for your larger applications

The 88 Mixer Model 10 (45 liter capacity) is a commercial sized batch mixer. It is built to carry containers up to 45 liters. Smaller sized cylindrical containers can be inserted into the mixer using a special clamping system available at an extra cost. Please give the dimensions of the containers you wish to use when asking for a quote.
3D Mixer - The unconventional 3D mixing motion quickly and efficiently produces a homogeneous mixture regardless of the specific weight of the substances being mixed. These mixers are often used as powder blenders for hard to mix substances.

Removable containers - These batch mixers will accept containers up to the stated capacity. Smaller sized cylindrical containers can be inserted either by using a special adjustable clamping system or by fixed size adapters. Both are available at an extra cost. Please give the dimensions of the containers you wish to use when asking for a quote.

Variable speed control - The speed is adjustable at the turn of a dial from 20 RPM to 60 RPM and is displayed on the tachometer. This allows for precise measurements of the process. Both models include a timer, which can be set from 1 minute to an hour or overridden at the flick of a switch.

Like all our machines, both models have a safety switch which shuts the machine down if the safety cover is open.

The safety cover is available in acrylic plastic, wire mesh and stainless steel sheet. Please tell us your needs when asking for a quotation.

The Model 10A uses an elliptical drive wheel and belt drive, while the 10B uses a linear motor drive. The linear motor drive is virtually maintenance free while the belt drive on the 10A may need occasional replacement.
The model 10B (linear motor drive) has a higher payload capacity allowing the mixing of denser materials.

The Models 15A and 15B, available on special order, are similar to the Models 10A and 10B respectively. They have 75-liter capacity, a maximum speed of 55 RPM and more powerful motors. See specifications, below.

Carts for loading and unloading all 88 Mixers Model 10 and Model 15 are available.

SPECIFICATIONS for Model 10B ( 10 Gallon):

Similar to Model 10A, but uses a linear motor drive, so it handles payloads of up to 100Kg.

Drive system: Uses two 1 h.p. LIM's (Linear Induction Motors) 2 h.p. total, driving a large diameter aluminum wheel. Speed controlled using a Micro Inverter speed control

Models 15A and 15B ( 15 Gallon)

are very similar in most respects to the 10A and 10B, but are designed to carry 15" x 28" containers (app. 75 liter).

They are slightly higher in price, and are a special order item.
